NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
Scholarship • Service • Leadership • Character
More Than an Honor. A Commitment to Excellence.
At University Christian School, National Honor Society recognizes students who strive for excellence not only in the classroom, but in the way they lead, serve, influence, and impact others.
NHS membership is both an honor and a responsibility. Our members are challenged to live out the four pillars of National Honor Society every day—Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
🎓 SCHOLARSHIP
Pursue Excellence.
Scholarship is more than earning good grades. It represents a commitment to learning, personal growth, discipline, and consistently pursuing your best.
We work hard. We keep growing. We pursue excellence.
🤝 SERVICE
Make an Impact.
We believe our time and talents are meant to be used for something greater than ourselves. NHS members serve both on campus and throughout our community, looking for opportunities to meet needs and make a meaningful difference.
We see a need. We step up. We serve with purpose.
⭐ LEADERSHIP
Lead by Example.
Leadership isn't just holding a title—it's having the courage to step forward, take initiative, encourage others, and set an example worth following.
Our members are challenged to become leaders who positively influence their school, community, and the people around them.
We take initiative. We inspire others. We lead with purpose.
🛡️ CHARACTER
Choose Integrity.
Character is who you are when no one is watching. NHS members are expected to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, respect, honesty, and compassion in the classroom and beyond.
We believe strong character is the foundation of meaningful leadership.
We do what is right. We respect others. We lead with integrity.
WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT
NHS at University Christian School is about turning achievement into action.
Our members participate in community outreach, on-campus service, off-campus service projects, leadership opportunities, fundraising for meaningful causes, and activities that strengthen our school and community.
We want our students to leave NHS understanding that leadership isn't about recognition—it's about responsibility.
FOUR PILLARS. ONE PURPOSE.
Serve others. Lead well. Pursue excellence. Live with character.
That is what it means to be a member of the National Honor Society at University Christian School.
