National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The National Junior Honor Society at University Christian School recognizes outstanding middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service. NJHS provides students with meaningful opportunities to grow as leaders, serve their community, and develop strong moral character. Through service projects, campus involvement, and peer collaboration, members are encouraged to make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Scholarship

Scholarship reflects a student’s commitment to learning and academic excellence. NJHS members consistently strive to do their best, take ownership of their education, and pursue knowledge with curiosity and discipline.

Leadership

Leadership is shown through responsibility, integrity, and the willingness to set a positive example. NJHS members influence others by demonstrating initiative, making wise choices, and working collaboratively to strengthen their school and community.

Character

Character represents the values that guide a student’s actions—honesty, respect, responsibility, and compassion. NJHS members show strong moral principles and make decisions that reflect integrity both in and out of the classroom.

Citizenship

Citizenship is the commitment to being a responsible and active member of the community. NJHS members show respect for others, follow school and community rules, and contribute to creating a positive environment for everyone.

Service

Service is at the heart of NJHS. Members willingly give their time and talents to help others without expecting anything in return. Through acts of kindness and organized projects, students learn the importance of serving their community and making a lasting impact.
